Celebrate National Marble Day, July 23rd, by going on the adventure of a lifetime…right here in your hometown. Local Flameworker David Kingman has brought The World’s Biggest Marble Hunt to Eugene/Springfield
Now, it’s up to you to join the hunt.
Starting July 23rd, artists from all over the world will hide their marbles. The World’s Biggest Marble Hunt will include over 10,000 marbles.

Follow the posts on social media for your clues, hints, and locations. Team up with your friends and family to find treasure.

When you find your marble, just go on Facebook and mark it as found and thank the artist. This event is ongoing. Marbles will be hidden frequently all over the world.

In less than a year, Facebook Group Black Market Marbles grew from 0 to over 13,000 members. Marbles & Things has added more than 5,000 members in the last few months. There are many more Facebook Groups and Instagram Accounts – these numbers are only the beginning and they’re expected to skyrocket in 2016/2017.

ABOUT: David Kingman graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute with a major in Graphic Design. He has always been interested and worked in various media including Jewelry, Wood Sculpture, Stained and Fused Art Glass, Photography as well as Watercolor and Oil Painting.
More recently, since 2013, David has been creating Flame Worked, or Lampworked glass art using a torch. This incorporates many of the same techniques of traditional furnace glassblowing and is often referred to as Glassblowing in recent years.
