It was a nice day Wednesday! I was able to get out on the bike. The fat tire RadRover does great on the dirt access road along the “A” canal behind our house.

Get this Greg Chase Glass Murrina Encased Pendant – Greg Chase is a well know master in the art of Murrine (or Millie) making. I have taken one of his “coins”, a slice of a murrine “cane” included in a rare double sided encasement and made that into a pendant. This petite, for glass, 8.3g pendant is simply a wearable showcase for Greg’s artistry. About 2 inches long. The cane is a scene of the New Orleans waterfront with pelicans flying overhead. This listing is for one pendant.

I have seen this before driving the “back way” to our house from I-5 via Gillespie Corners to the Loraine Highway. This is the first time I stopped to take a picture. I thought this exemplifies Oregon pretty well: Random Acts of Weirdness. It’s not for sale. It serves no purpose other than that to enrich and entertain passer’s by. There is no retail business advertised, that I know of. Just Random Oregon-ness. Look close you will see wild turkeys in the yard.
A tiny taste of what Oregon has to offer. Living here you sometimes take the beauty for granted.
